KickStart MIPCOM 2000

Kerstin Harp, Director, Filmkontakt Nord and Meg Villarreal, Director, US Independents representing two of the coordinating agencies for KickStart 2000. More than 50 producers, distributors, and broadcasters from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Korea, Norway, Sweden, and the U.S.A. gathered at the Gray D'Albion hotel on Sunday, October 1 to share brief descriptions of projects in development that would lend themselves to international partnerships. Because of the success of this innaugural event, plans are underway for a repeat on April 1 prior to MIPTV 2001.
